I wish I had this when we first purchased our home.In the first few years we did so many updates to the home like the furnace, water pump, water filtration, hot water heater and more. In September our water pump went and we knew we had replaced it when we moved in but it would have been nice to be able to check back, see what the issue was and have all the information we needed. Since we didn't my husband had to pull the pump up with my assistance (gross nasty job) to get the measurements so we could go pick one up. It only took 2 days but it was annoying nonetheless.I recommend this book to every homeowner to keep track of everything in one spot. There is even pockets for you to include receipts and manuals so you never lose them. A-M and N-Z so you don't have to search through everything.From your roof to your driveway, your windows to your dryer it is all in here.Great investment in your home and a great first home gift.

It is full of information about products, storage, organization, etc. Aside from the wealth of information it gives you on household items and how to maintain them, it gives you one place to store every item you want to record. It is full of charts to place your warranty numbers, phone numbers for merchandisers, serial numbers of your products, etc. It gives you lists after lists. If you are an organizer or want to become one, this will be the ONLY book you will ever need again. I still have not been able to complete my household belongings because it is so extensive. It will also be great when you make new household purchases...all you need to do is put down all the pertinent information and you have it for safekeeping. I would suggest that once you start filling in the pages, you keep it in a fire-proof box. It is sure to help you if you ever have a disaster in your home. Insurance purposes aside, this is a great way to catalog your belongings that are precious to you.
