If you sit and think for 5 minutes about what basics you need to live off grid, you could write this PAMPHLET. For example, if you live off grid and need the internet to work from home, get cable or wireless, which ius less reliable. If you don't, consider just using your phone or going to the local coffee shop or library to plug in.THAT'S IT. One whole chapter.Another chapter says you'll want to catch rainwater, and gives a formula. But no example of using it or even if the answer means number of gallons per month or what. No explanation of how, just you should do it is all.Don't waste your money on thus garbage!

It gets straight to the point from the beginning, discussing different kinds of dwelling.Every different option is well-described and their pros and cons are clearly stated, letting the reader be the judge of what's best for their own situation.In addition to the housing, the book offers tips on location, planning and in-depth explanations about acquiring power and electricity using different kinds of methods. For the modern dweller, the book even describes how to get an Internet connection going.This book is a fully-equipped guide to living off the grid, with more than enough information to get you going. Highly recommended!
