Seriously, how could you go wrong with an adorable dog with more personality than most people I know?!I received this book for free through a Goodreads giveaway and read it to my dog that night (I know, I'm totally that person.) Although I feel like some of the "magic of Marnie" is lost when you think about the fact that there's a *gasp* human behind what she says, I still can't help but to audibly squeal whenever I turn the page.Buy this for your dog-loving friends and I promise they'll love you for it.
4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Hardcover book with a sweet soft chewy center that will melt your heart. By IndigoZero I did not buy this off of Amazon. I bought it at the Los Angeles signing event. I also do not review things on Amazon as often as I do, but I love this book too much.It has an opening introduction that details the story of how and were Marnie was found, it is a really heart breaking and touching story. The rest of the book is a series of photos and quotes of Marnie doing different things at different places and it makes my heart melt every single time. The other day I was feeling a little depressed, and after a couple of minutes of flipping through this book I was feeling cheerful and grateful and happy. I put this book on my favorite book shelf facing forward.Marnie is the reason why I will only ever adopt a dog. Marnie changed my mind about adopting senior dogs, which from now on I will never write off.
