The study of the back and forth of the Darwinian discussion could get tedious to some By Amazon Customer This book took a twist from part 1, with much torment after the attempt to burn out the 7 ox 7 ranch, the ranchers had to decide to go or stay. Why is the interaction of the newcomers to the area important? To show the power of influence of perceptions with differing experiences. The study of the back and forth of the Darwinian discussion could get tedious to some, but I felt it showed the different levels of mind, manipulation, and the desire to be someone who was "someone". I can't wait to see where this leads as this book must be a transitional book in an ongoing story. I did have to go back and reread some of the first book to refresh my memory at the start. I enjoy historical fiction as long as it is accurate. I do have a connection to the area that draws me into the story.

Nice follow on effort by Mr By Dave Nice follow on effort by Mr. Ritzer...the storyline definitely has me hooked, as I want to know the decisions that get made and how the process gets them to arrive at whatever conclusions they make. There is a fine line between loving tolerance and righteous retribution, and we are all faced with it in our lives at some point. Hope Mr. Ritzer is well into the next book, as I am waiting very "impatiently"!! Also nice incorporation of history and the allure of the wild west. Whatever happened to the great American Western? It's right here in the book.
