Furry friends meet photo booths in this quirky photography book that captures all the cute canine action when the leashes come off and the dogs are the star of the show.If dogs could take selfies, it might look something like Tails from the Booth. For this adorable collection of photographs, Lynn Terry draws on more than twenty years of professional photography experience to capture the most endearing moments between canine companions: A couple of pitbulls grinning widely at the camera. Two saggy-faced bulldogs bumping jowls. A Pomeranian, an English bulldog, and a Boston terrier dog-piling (of course) on top of each other. These pictures show the countless ways dogs will ham it up in front of a camera, and that more dogs in a photo booth = even more fun! With all the charm of Underwater Dogs and Shake, Tails from the Booth will make you laugh out loud at all the awkward and endearing ways dogs make friends with each other.

Tails from the Booth is the perfect way to cheer you up.One look at this book’s cover and I couldn’t help from smiling. Tails from the Booth has over 100 photos of dogs making funny faces and striking silly poses. The photos are taken in a photo booth background which adds a fun setting for the dogs. A photo booth brings to mind fun times with friends, squeezing close together and making funny faces. But who would have thought a group of dogs would have the same great time. These dogs are absolutely adorable and author Lynn Terry clearly captured their personalities. There are photos of dogs sitting still, licking each other, and playing with each other. I can’t decide which my favorite photo is.Included with the photos is the author’s brief story. As a professional photographer Lynn Terry has always had a love for everything vintage. So when she decided to take photos of dogs for a local pit bull rescue group she used old curtains reminiscent of old photo booth drapes. The results of the photo shoots were better than she expected and everyone she shared it with loved them. Because of this great experience she experimented with different backdrops and dogs. But the project was put aside until the death of her beloved dog DeeDee. She regretted not taking any pictures with DeeDee so she started the photo booth series to photograph owners with their dogs. The owners loved the photos Lynn Terry took. Once her photos were shared online the news spread around the world and we are now enjoying Lynn Terry’s work.As an animal lover and a dog owner I love the photos she captured. You can see the intelligence, emotion and playfulness from all of these dogs. This is a collection I will share with all my family and friends.I received this book as a member of the XOXperts, XOXO After Dark’s official street team, in exchange for an honest review. I was provided a copy of this book as an XOXpert, the official street team of XOXO After Dark.As an animal lover with two beautiful Cocker Spaniels and three cats, it's a no surprise that I love this book. In fact, all dog lovers are going to want a copy of this book, for your bedside table or coffee table. This is a hardcover picture book dedicated to dogs as they pose and ham it up for the camera. The author has created a collage of professionally shot vivid color and black and white photographs that mimics the effect of being taken in an old fashioned photo booth, only with dogs. These pictures are absolutely hilarious! The expressions on the faces of the precious canines kept me entertained for hours. Anytime you need a pick me up, this book will give your spirits a boost. As a professional photographer for over twenty years, specializing in animal photography, these incredible photos have captured the essence of man ( and woman's) best friend. The idea for this book came from the author's online photos, which was so well received, she decided to put the photos in book, and I am so happy she did.I found the author's notes on how she manages to get the dogs to pose for the camera very interesting, as well as her insights on the joy of pet ownership.“When I was trying to complete my thoughts for this book, I asked friends what their dogs meant to them. The best answer I got was,' We have an old mutt that has very few teeth, bad breath, is scared of his own shadow, and has periodic seizures. I wouldn't trade him for any other dog in the world.'The photos in the book are printed on glossy, high quality paper, and are the most adorable pictures of dogs of all breeds. This book sits out on my coffee table and never fails to capture the attention of family and friends. This is one of the most imaginative picture books about dogs I have come across in a very long time.If you love dogs.. (And who doesn't? ) Then you will not want to miss this book. Not only that, this is a perfect gift idea for the pet owner and dog lover on your list, young and old alike. Now, all we need is a companion book, featuring felines! 5 stars!

By kimbacaffeinate Tails from the Booth by Lynn Terry offers one hundred and twenty-eight pages that are sure to make you smile. Within the pages of this hardcover collection you will see some of the cutest, furriest, sweetest faces of man’s best friends. All of them taken against a backdrop that will remind you of a vintage photobooth. An absolute must have for dog lovers. In between all of the adorable, sometimes silly and often bashful faces the author shares how she created the first images of dogs in an attempt to help save pit bulls. She took pictures of two dogs licking each other and created a snapshot similar to those from a vintage photo booth. She posted the photo online thinking her clients would enjoy it. The photo was done without a watermark and it quickly spread. It began appearing as banners on websites, mostly for shelters. She then did one with pit bulls and it went viral. The Huffington Post picked it up and eventually publishers contacted her..the rest as they say is history. The author shares stories about her own dog Dee-Dee and her love affair with dogs. It is touching and heartwarming. She explains the photo process which only makes you appreciate the photos. The back of the book includes headshots and the names of all the dogs pictured. I dare you not to fall in love with all of them.Tails from the Booth is the perfect coffee table book for dog lovers. It would make a wonderful holiday gift for those hard to buy for shoppers on your list, and the perfect pick me up for that friend who is ill.
