The story behind and weaved around Cheeper the bird--"Robin"--is one that will turn-on and intrigue every nerve of your imagination. Theater set for readers is based on a true story. At the end of the story, the author highlights how resiliency can override many of human struggles in life by giving her real life experience. She does this by coining three words very well--hope, sorrow and SONG. While my first intention of this purchase was to get something inspiring and interesting for my daughter and son to read, after reading the introductory part, I couldn't help but kept flipping page to the very last one! every page of the book is filled with wonder and curiosity of what on the next. If you care for meaningful literature for you or kids, then this is a book I would definitely recommend.

Simple on the surface, yet rich within By Kelsey Bryant This sweet book is a rich, well-written little tale!Reading about a bird's life is very restful, yet there's enough suspense to keep you turning pages to find out what's going to happen. Viewing life through a robin's eyes is a fun change of perspective. And the lessons that Cheeper learns are true spiritual lessons that we humans need to take to heart. God loves us and is with us through whatever we go through. All in all an engaging, touching book for all ages. And the illustrations are such a nice touch and add even more to the story.It has put me in a thoughtful mood ever since I finished it....Who knew you could learn so much from a bird?

Charming Book About a Little Robin By BriChelle This charming book follows the life of a robin, from the time he was rescued by a human family until he adventures out on his own. I especially like the way Sarah interjects Cheeper's thoughts throughout the book. Since "Cheeper" is written from a Christian perspective, you won't have to worry about what your children are learning as they read. From the excellent storyline to the hand drawn pictures, I definitely recommend this book to you!
