The instructions were clear and understandable. The author has done a great job in writing, organizing and researching them. They surpassed my expectation and they are spot-on. I went on a camping trip so I used the techniques used in this book. I was able to start fires easily with the help of this book. So many ideas and methods that are quite creative and I wouldn't have thought of otherwise. If you are a person who loves adventure most specifically camping, you will are always prone to disaster or an unwanted incident. This book which will give you a lot of tips and methods on how to make fire will keep you informed and prepared if ever you face such situation. Be prepared!

Maresca Prepping: Survival Shelter by Rick Canton is an excellent resource for building shelters under emergency conditions for almost any kind of climate.There are detailed instructions for building a shelter in a forest, a desert or even in a polar region.The book provides practical guidance on building a shelter in a desert area. For instance, construction of a shelter should be at night when the weather is cooler. Advice on constructing igloos or using caves or rock formations is appropriate for icy or snowy conditions. The judicious use of wood is good for forest environments.Overall, Canton's book is an excellent resource for building a shelter quickly in just about every weather condition imaginable.

Brant This book is packed with all sorts of useful information you really need to know when trying to survive out in nature and not having a tent with you. Even if you can find food and water, you will still die without shelter. This is where Rick's brilliance really shines.The book is filled with diagrams showing you exactly how to build the different shelters. I appreciate how Rick goes through how different shelters work best in different environments around the globe. A desert shelter isn't going to look like a forest shelter. This book is amazing and if you haven't read it and want to learn more about shelters it is just what you need.
