About the Author Hi and welcome to my vivid, bright world of coloring.I was born in California and spent most of my life traveling, exploring nature and loving every minute of it! Nature is healing, nature renews us and most of all nature makes us feel beautiful and for these reasons, I love to incorporate the beauty of flowers, trees and leaves into my drawings. Now I reside in Green Bay, Wisconsin with my husband of 32 years and along with him, continue to explore the beauty that this world has to offer.I have drawn for most of my life and still remember my mother telling stories of how I drew by the age of 3 and how I could hum a tune at 6 months. I'm not sure about the humming a tune at 6 months but drawing was always something that I loved to do and having the opportunity to share my gift with you is a dream come true.So what are you waiting for? Another great book of Doodles by Kathy Ahrens By iiiireader [[VIDEOID:3ed5283a082fc96ebbb1befa9fc9b140]]This is my second book of Kathy Ahrens' Doodle style designs. The first is her book published by Creative Haven “Dream Doodles” which I liked so well, I went looking for other books she had done in the past. “Zany Zendoodles” is a self-published book via CreateSpace, so the quality of the physical page is not up to that of Creative Haven, however, the designs are every bit as wonderful.The book has 30 hand-drawn “doodle” designs, including one with an owl, a peace sign, butterfly, a lovely young woman peeking through her long hair, flowers and many many more.The pages are printed on white paper which is not perforated. The designs are printed on one side of the page with the back left blank. The designs stop well short of the binding and can easily be removed with a pen knife if you so choose.My gel pens and markers all leaked through this paper. Not a problem, though, as I can put a piece of chipboard or a couple of heavy weight pieces of paper under the page I am working on to keep the ink from leaking through.I really love this artist's work and am looking forward to more books by her in the future. I appreciate the work she has done and it really helps me de-stress at the end of the night. I'm not great at doodling but I am sure enjoying coloring hers!
