About the Author
Chase Reynolds Ewald has been writing about food, design, travel and lifestyle in the West and beyond for 25 years. A graduate of Yale and the Graduate School of Journalism at U.C. Berkeley, she is currently Senior Editor of Western Art & Architecture Magazine. This is her eighth book and her third collaboraton with Audrey Hall.
About the Photographer
Audrey Hall’s images about culture, style and travel are diversely featured, from social media campaigns to television. She was recently on the road in Africa, Haiti and domestically with Pulitzer Prize–winning journalist Nicholas Kristof for the PBS series A Path Appears. This is her tenth book.
About the Author Chase Reynolds Ewald is the author of two books on traditional craft, Old Masters of the West and Old masters of New England, as well as nearly 100 articles for periodicals such as Southwest Art, Sunset, Outside, and Countryside. She lives with her family in northern California.
AUDREY HALL’S photography has been widely published; her feature stories have appeared in The New York Times, Interiors, Luxe, Preservation, Country Living, Sunset, and the Wall Street Journal. She lives in Livingston, Montana.

A GEM OF STYLE AND TASTE By Amazon Customer This is a beautiful book - The photography is incredible - with a loving attention to details. I wanted to move back out west immediately -but the selections of homes goes beyond cliche and classic western rustic design to show a much more diverse palate. Wonderful book and greatto look at over and over again

I loved the rustic style of the book. The large format and double-page spreads do justice to the beautiful photos. Loved it!!
