1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Love Ms. Frank's Books By Hannah I love reading Dorothea Benton Frank's books so I ordered this CD Collection to listen to when I travel. The Shem Creek story was done very professionally and was most enjoyable. Unfortunately, Ms. Frank read the Pawleys Island book and it was very choppy for the first disk or so and then she lighten up some. Making her own CD's is really not her calling. Perhaps she should just write more books.

I purchased this as a going away gift for a friend/neighbor, for her to listen to as she travels from New Mexico to Maine. She was thrilled! Anythink by Ms. Frank is exceptional and I highly recommend her works to anyone who reads womens novels.
