My husband, on the other hand, is an accomplished veteran who usually takes all the photos of our dog and horses. After reading this book, I was able to capture some great pictures and have a good time doing it. The book is loaded with information that can be understood by a beginner and appreciated by an advanced photographer. My husband also thoroughly enjoyed it. The photographs are fantastic and the clear instructions on how to achieve good results make this book a must have at every level. I highly reccommend it.

I have a better understanding o By david b. gardner I found Susan Ley's "Pet Photography for Fun" extremely helpful and well written. After following her helpful hints and techniques, I now know what I was doing wrong and have managed to take pictures that I am very pleased with. I have a better understanding of photography and can apply the lessons to all my efforts especially trying to capture pictures of the grandchildren and the pets. I loved this book and would highly recommend it.

An Important Resource for Getting Better Photos of My Pets By Chris P As I don't have any small children or grandchildren at home anymore, my pets have become my most photographed subjects. I don't have experience or knowledge on photography past pushing the button on my camera. So when I ordered Pet Photography for Fun I hoped it would help me take better pictures without overwhelming me with complexity. I am happy to report that the book is great for a beginner like myself. It's well organized, clearly written and very user friendly. It's helped me understand my camera better and is great to have on hand as a referral. The photos of my dogs and parrots are so much better since I started using this book. I love sharing them.
