By Kimberly M Spriggs I downloaded this book because we adopted a 5 month old lab and it had been a few years since we'd trained a puppy. The summary of this book indicated this was an in depth "how to" book to assist the owner in training a puppy to have manners, be house and crate trained, and learn basic obedience. The content is so general and high level, it is of little value. I read the book in less than 10 minutes, and even for $2.99 download price, I don't think I took anything useful away to help me train our puppy. I have several other books in queue, and will update this review if I find one that can be a useful tool for pet owners eager to train their puppies. I'd save the money and keep looking if you are thinking about paying for this "book." I think I'd characterize it as more of a short, generic article than a treatise on puppy training, so save your $.

Short to the point essential advice By Joan T We recently bought two Bassets hound pups, and I was looking for advice on the most important things to teach a pup. This book gives easy to follow training steps for the most important first things to teach your pup to keep it safe and help it become a well adjusted member of the family.
