She shares about different breeds, skirting and washing a fleece, different ways to prepare the fleece for spinning, using prepared fibers and the difference between worsted and woolen spinning. The photos are very helpful and inspiring. She is a talented spinner, knitter and weaver.

Even if I'd never contemplated having a few sheep of my own, reading Kate Larson's account of her experiences with sheep and by extension wool would have me considering that now. Very informative and well written, a book that answers questions I didn't know that I had about my favorite past time, spinning and knitting wool.
