He and his wife, Christiane, found that place in California’s Coachella Valley, where they own a 1959 William Krisel–designed home.

Not only pictures of some beautiful Modernist houses but also some of the people of Palm Springs tell their Modernism and Desert love-stories.I was not expecting it to be an interesting read, but it is!Unfortunately my copy arrived stuffed into a box and had been damaged in transit - it has been sent back for a replacement.

An instant classic piece of artwork for your coffee table showcasing the people and stories behind the modern facades and architecture that you can't help but fall in love with. Schnepf's passionate and authentic lens allows the reader a glimpse into what makes this place and these people fabulous. Bravo!

Through colorful and creative photos along with background stories of these structures, one relives how Palm Springs became home to many people seeking the excitement of the desert. Beautiful work.
