It does a great job of explaining the pros and cons of making your own laundry detergent. The author gave many different recipes. However, most were for the liquid type of detergent.I still had several questions when I was finished reading.1) Has the author ever made/used homemade detergent? It was never mentioned.2) do you have to set aside tools for detergent making only or can you wash the pots and use them for other things?3) how is this better if they both use chemicals?It seemed that the author got tired toward the end because that is where the typos started.If you haven't decided whether making laundry detergent is for you, this is an excellent reference. If you know you want to, there are many recipes to try but I don't know if the author has used them.

It reminds me of the instructions manuals from a decade ago ( and many still today) translated from another language. In Many sentences, it is tough to try and figure out what is being said.So, if you are not into deciphering poor translations, i would waste my time time with this book.

By Amazon Customer I thought I'd check out this book since I'm interested in making my own laundry soap to see what it said since I could get it for free. It's a good thing it was free. I would be pretty upset if I had actually paid money for it. It really needs to be revised and edited even to be readable. There also wasn't very much helpful information in it. A Google search would have been more helpful.
