Catherine Ryan Hyde is the bestselling author of twenty-seven published and forthcoming books. Just look into the soft, loving eyes of the dog on the front cover. How could you not want to know more of this story? I certainly did! The characters are vulnerable and real and it was easy for me to care about them. This story has drama, suspense, human interest, and love. It's about relationships and family and personal growth. Catherine Ryan Hyde has a unique way of introducing her readers to people we might not seek out on our own. But once we take a risk and get to know them, our lives are so much richer for the experience. There are important messages in this book. It is definitely a WORTHY investment of your time and money. Congratulations, Catherine, you have a winner!

They are God's gift to you, as you are to them. - Desmond Tutu By Cheryl Stout I've read many of author Hyde's books, including the wonderful PAY IT FORWARD. She has a real talent for getting the reader's attention from the first page and keeping it until the very last words of the story.In WORTHY, waitress Virginia is well on her way to falling in love with Aaron, a widower with four year old son Buddy. And on the day that she is asked for her first date with Aaron, a horrific accident happens.Fast forward nineteen years and it's amazing how fate works (or the hand of God if you prefer). An old acquaintance is brought back into Virginia's life and life is looking up for everyone.Great character development - I felt like I actually knew the main characters of this special story.Heartwarming with exciting twists and turns, I heartily recommend this story to Hyde fans and fans of women's fiction.NOTE: I received this book from Lake Union Publishing through Net Galley in exchange for my honest review.

Met all my expectations and more By Sherry Beard Before I went to the Grand Canyon, I had read a book about it and the author made the comment that no matter how high an expectation you had of seeing it for the first time, you would not be disappointed. I had been reading books about and anticipating my trip to the Grand Canyon for some 20 years. I had very high expectations; it was all I had imagined and more. And so it was with "Worthy". I have read all of Catherine Ryan Hyde’s published books since I first came across "When I Found You" and had been counting the days until June 1st. I am working on a deadline for a writing project of my own and so decided I would read it a little at a time at bedtime. My resolve to read it a little at a time went out the window after a few chapters when it begins to read like a movie. The charters and dialog were so real that the words on the page became scenes in my head. You don’t pause a movie and go back to it later you watch it straight though. I am not disappointed in the time it took out of my life because it gave me so much more than it took. Thank you, Catherine. I have enjoyed reading all your books but thought my first would always be my favorite, I was wrong.
