4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. When is a coloring book not a coloring book? By M Shea I am not so sure I would call this a coloring book. I think the artist's work is beautiful but there isn't much to color. The drawings are about 4.5 inches square and include a lot of grey and black shading. I looked at this as a challenge and decided to keep the book and work with it. I do have an issue with the creator suggesting watercolor (along with other media) and then providing a double sided page, so that your reverse side gets ruined even with light water use. The rather small image size (smaller than what is pictured on the cover) is misleading.

I was pleasantly surprised that something I enjoyed in my childhood put me at such ease in my present. This artist's interesting designs were more intricate than most and very beautiful. I loved this idea.
