About the Author Hi and welcome to my vivid, bright world of coloring.I was born in California and spent most of my life traveling, exploring nature and loving every minute of it! Nature is healing, nature renews us and most of all nature makes us feel beautiful and for these reasons, I love to incorporate the beauty of flowers, trees and leaves into my drawings. Now I reside in Green Bay, Wisconsin with my husband of 32 years and along with him, continue to explore the beauty that this world has to offer.I have drawn for most of my life and still remember my mother telling stories of how I drew by the age of 3 and how I could hum a tune at 6 months. I love to throw this in my purse or carry on bag along with a zippered pouch of my favorite colored pencils. This small format (5 1/8 x 7 7/8") is even small enough to keep in your purse.The 32 designs are:*Single side*Fairly thick paper, but markers will bleed through*All are 'zentangle' style, but not redundant*Some are simple, some more intricate*All are full page (no margin) with the exception of a hand making the peace sign (see my photos)*Some are totally abstract, some have flowers, owls, words, etc.My only con is that the binding is pretty tight, so it is hard to add color all the way to the center. It doesn't lay flat unless you hold it or use a clipboard (you'll notice my fingers in my photos holding it open).

By Karen Gory With 30 intricate full-page drawings and 3 smaller 'bonus' images on the fly leaf, this pocket colouring book will keep you busy for a long time to come. The images have large enough spaces to colour them in any medium you like and I've attached images coloured in fineliner, crayola pencil, and crayola twistable crayons (you have to use fine-tipped pencils/pens for the smaller areas of the design). One warning though - the paper is very thin and if you want to use markers of any kind, be safe and put a sheet of blank cardstock behind your page so the ink doesn't bleed... Also, because the pages are so thin, they curl and fold easily and you'll want to be careful how you transport the book, which is the only reason it doesn't get five stars.

By Mae I purchased this book on Kathy's Etsy website and want all my Amazon friends to know how fabulous it is!!! I'm serious! It is priceless to be able to travel with one piece of Kathy's art to color. Now, I get to take an entire book! I LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. This book so much! Her work is so authentic, unique, and each page is more beautiful than the next. Because the pages are smaller they will be a little less time consuming. I am going to finish the book, frame each page, and make a collage on a wall that needs "just the right" piece! I can not wait. Then I am going to purchase another book, redo it, and add to the gallery! So excited. This is perfect for anyone that needs a pick-me-up, something to smile about when they are having a stressful day, and it will make awesome birthday presents, and Christmas presents. I'm going to order extra for all of them!!! Thank you, Kathy for all that you do for the community! We are so fortunate that you share your gift with us!!!
