This book has taught its readers how to make different and varied crochets: the treble stitch, the slip stitch, the cluster stitch, and so much more! And for someone who is making crocheting a hobby and an anti-stress activity, this book will be just a perfect help. It has been for me. I appreciate the book's goal of teaching readers how to read the Crochet diagrams and the 4 versions of the Ripple Afghan--this is a new learning for me!

It teaches you the basic stitches, if you are a beginner, along with how to read patterns and change colors, before teaching you how to do the various different kinds of ripple afghan styles available. I crochet and I like to learn all aspects of it, because I want to create great gifts for family members, so I was very interested in this book. I especially like at the end where they have a chart to tell you how big you need to make your afghan for different bed sizes. That's very useful. There's also great color photos.

Brant I had no idea that there were so many variations of Afghans until I read this book. It is packed from beginning to end with examples of how to get started and the different choices you will need to make in order to master this amazing skill. You will wow your family and friends with gifts that most people have no clue how to make. Handmade gifts are so much more valuable than stuff bought in the store and this book has all of the info you need to get started with spectacular designs!
